1964 – so long ago found us starting our high school experience at our alma mater, Camelback HIgh.

We can’t go into every exciting, stimulating memory that we experienced – that’s what yearbooks are for but, there are those special events and high points in our lives that formed our personalities, developed our drive and creativity for a better existence in society. ENJOY the trip.

SPORTS:

Football Coach:  Don Baker – Varsity placed 2nd in Division III with an impressive 8-1 record. the only loss coming from South Mountain….. by 1 point.

Basketball Coach: James Smith – Outdoing last year’s season, our Spartan warriors grabbed the AA Championship. After losing an opener to Central, they went on to win their next 9 straight victories.

Baseball fights on, track wins their 7 out of 8 matches, and wrestling all showed the Spartan spirit to their opponents. The girls’ tennis netted an undefeated season.

 Highlights:

Ron Holloway led the CHS Band to a Superior rating at the A.S.U. Festival

Our JV football squad not only had a great 9-1 season…. 7 of the wins found their opponents scoreless. The only loss from a single TD by Arcadia.

On the B-Ball court, Mike Williams set a new school record – 33 points in a single game.

Danny Gillespie pole-vaulted to a 13′ 7″ pinnacle.
